Needed to find a real estate attorney in a specific geographic location. Thumbtack provided multiple leads on very qualified attorneys in the area. It really simplified the process!

So helpful. I use this app for everything!! I definitely recommend

This app has allowed me to easily find folks to do things I dont want to do :) I have hired a personal trainer, two lawn people (different houses in different states) and helped me get quotes on projects.

Ive used this app for nearly everything recently. I like that you can hire people easily.

I was googling tree service and how I got thumbtack I have no idea but sure am glad I did. So easy. I just hired my pro so I hope I am as pleased with his work as I am with the process.

Easy to use, name the task, specify, get quotes. Can keep track of conversations, pictures, etc, very useful.

Some bad moments

Just to let everyone here know that you will receive many many advertisement calls after registering.

Cant write a message longer than five lines to a contractor using this app. Whats the point?

Im using only the website. Deleted the iOS app because it fails to login and its useless for me

After signing up for this service the next day I was flooded with hundreds of telemarketing phone calls. One of the harassers told me that I recently signed up with an Affiliate company they gave them my number. Now I have nothing but phone calls over and over and over all day long with crap telemarketing from this app do you not sign up for this app they will sell your phone number!!!

Ive tried to use this service several times, but every time I put in a request it sends me an email saying that my request doesnt fill their guidelines or is inappropriate. I asked for a couch cleaning service and a gutter cleaning service. Both came back like this. Not worth the hassle! Much easier to just research professionals online myself. Great idea, but this particular incarnation is useless in practice.

As a professional Makeup Artist I thought Id give this a try to see if it added any volume to my clientele. This app is a joke. 100% if every quote I sent was viewed so there were no chances of getting your credits back to send more quotes...on top of that 75% of the people hired people outside of the app and the other 25% just sat there....Who are these "interested clients?" This app feels scammy. Do not waste your money.
