Thumbtack: Hire Service Pros App Reviews

My son told me about this app when I was looking for an HVAC contractor. I signed up and with in a few minutes I had three quotes. I have hired one of them so Ill review him after the install.

Even better than the website! Multiple choice to submit a new project, telephone numbers, reviews, text messages etc are all in one place! Highly recommended!

I use thumbtack for hi rigs DJs for our corporate events and its so simple! I get quotes from great people and have always been satisfied with the services provided!!

This is the second time using thumbtack and so far both experiences have been very good and have gone with out a hitch I will use this service again!

The app is flawless. The company has lavish offices. I paid for a referral from them for a "professional" without adequately researching their credentials. The referred company did not return my phone calls. They were terribly rated online. Since the thumbtack company is headquartered in California, the BBB has very little grievance options. They were contacted and were not helpful in refunding my cost to obtain a worthless and ineffective referral source. STAY AWAY!

Great tool to find local companies and services.... Love the fact that they ask you all the questions vendors will need to know prior to submitting your request which allows you to not have to repeat your request to each separate vendor...

Great app and great site to find help for projects or just someone to clean your home or mow your lawn. So happy my personal time is freed up. Hubby and I just got a house and we work 40+ hours a week so come the weekend we were spending all our time cleaning and taking care of the lawn. Not anymore :)

Easy to use, simple questions to answer defines what you are looking for, send your request and with my requests being more common like plumber, landscaper and drywall repair, I got replies within half an hour. The reviews also provides guide towards the satisfaction that customer receives. Always concerned about the skills that person has and getting ripped off, work being delayed, price being raised and working with someone unknown. This app makes it so easy and gets people to respond to you, which means they want to work and you dont have to call around. To date, I am very happy.

If I could actually delete my account that would be great, but they make it impossible. I had one account for maybe a week, decided to delete and when I tried they said error, you are logged into the wrong account, please log out and re log in to the right one. Which is ridiculous because I only have one.... If I could vote ZERO stars I would..
