Thumbtack: Hire Service Pros App Reviews

I put off doing home maintenance because I dreaded the search for qualified professionals. This app made it so fast & easy and found an exceptional professional!

This app has been extremely helpful as I am in escrow to buy new home and needed some estimates to underwrite the deal. Love it! Once I close on the house, I have three different vendors lined up!

I wish more contractors would get on board with thumbtack. Its a great resource for any home project or service.

Needed my yard mowed as it was over grown. Filled out the quick questionnaire and 5 hours later I had 6 contacts. Much more preferred than going through a phone book and doing the leg work myself.

So helpful and easy to use app! I got quotes pretty quickly and lots to choose from! I use this app for many different projects. I hired movers to move my furniture and my next project is to look for a handyman to move and install a dishwasher and dryer.

I love thumbtack.com, and I have used their services to good benefit. However, this app is pathetic. Right now, Im logged on to my thumbtack account via my computer and I see all my projects, whereas the app said I have no projects! I thought logging out from the app and re-logging on would solve this, but guess what... The app doesnt recognize my account any more. When I put in my email address, in the next screen it says it has sent me an email with login information. No such email arrives, and all this while I am logged on to the thumbtack website!

I now use thumbtack for all my contractor/work needs and I have a best friend who is one! Its nice having people show up on time and do a great job at a fair price!

Whenever I need anything done around the house thumbtack is my immediate next step. Never had a need to use Angies list or anything else. Love love love kt

I was just searching for landscapers online and Thumbtack came up. It was so easy to just answer a few multiple choice questions and have the response come in. I love that it uses email and texting to communicate. I hate to talk on the phone, especially if Im at work, so this is a big selling point. Also no fee like other services. I will definitely be using Thumbtack again and again.

I just used Thumbtack to hire movers and it was awesome! So much better than randomly looking up and calling companies/craigslist on your own. Everything is in one place, you get concrete quotes, and then can read reviews before you decide. So great! (ps if youre in Nashville and need to move hire A-1 Movers!)

This app is the best. Jut put in what you need done and if there is a person available to complete the task they contact you. So far I have had three different types of work done around my house from handy man services to carpet cleaning . They were all nice, efficient, and did the work that needed to be done.

I have used this app for multiple events and have yet to come across a vendor I did not like. Its super convenient you get more than one option to choose from. This is my first stop shop before looking elsewhere for party events or vendors or even locations to have an event.
