Thumbtack: Hire Service Pros App Reviews

I love this app. As a first time home buyer I have already used this app for multiple vendors during the buying process -- quotes for repairs after inspections before buying, movers after buying, and a service providers including electricians and masonry after moving in. It is so easy and efficient, especially for millennials who prefer using an app/Text rather than phone calls. You can find any kind of service provider you need, its fantastic and simple.

I tried the thumbtack to find a gardener. I completed the form on Saturday and then got an email Monday saying there are no gardeners available, "sorry" I tried homeadvisor and they connected me instantly to someone and also emailed me some backups.

This app is great for a "middle-man" between you and vendors/sellers. I used it several time from find a dog training to finding people to help with my wedding!!!!

Great app. Takes away the worry of getting a bad job. Highly recommended and will use over and over.

I used this app to find all sorts of people for my wedding - bartender, caterer, cake shop, lighting, officiant! Easy to use & quick responses usually. Also the quotes I got were very reasonable. It seems like there are a lot of independent service providers that might not have a fancy website and would otherwise be difficult to find. (and were much cheaper than the fancy website counterparts!) Highly recommend.

Really takes calling around out of the equation. As a preschool teacher, I dont have time to make phone calls during business hours, so this app brought everyone to me, and made it easy to exchange messages!

Havent had an issues using the app. Have used it on 3 different occasions for 3 different jobs. Everyone has been affordable & very professional. Will continue to use to get the stuff done I cant do.

There are so many times when you need to hire someone to do a small job, or even a big one. Thumbtack is exactly what you need. Find people, get multiple quotes, and know what other people said about them. Contractor friends of mine also say they get great business from it.

This app is great! I always had such a hard time finding companies to come out and do work on my house, but thumbtack makes it so easy. Definitely recommend!

Easy to use app, gets me in contact with professionals when needed. Missing ability to pay in app, this is handled by vendor - would like single payer option.
